There are some key mindsets that can get in the way. A couple of tips would be:Not to focus on content, focus on results and work back from there. That way you will only include content that is needed to achieve the result and not add content in for that is not needed. This can lead to overwhelm.Avoid perfectionism. It doesn't need to be perfect… it does however need to be done.Topic 2 Key Area of ImprovementFoundations / ConceptOne mistake we see course creators make is making their course have too broader an appeal [fit too many people]Here’s a couple of tips:Get total clarity of the value you add to the people you consider to be your perfect prospect.Work out who is the best fit for your initial course and focus on them… you can always make more courses for others down the track.Topic 3 Key Area of ImprovementCreationWhen it comes to creation and content, often people think more is more and get overwhelmed by content. Also, there are so many tools out there to help create courses and people can get confused and overwhelmed by tech.So here’s some tips:Don’t go over the top with your content - keep it simple.You don’t need to know about all the different tech… just stick to the tools that are most simple and will do the job for you.Topic 4 Key Area of ImprovementMarketingIf you spend too much time on the internet watching all the marketing gurus you will get confused. My tip would be to get to know a couple of sound marketing strategies initially, get good and these and stick to them. My best tip is to take the attitude that you are not trying to sell them something they don’t want.
